Reasoning in the Answer: Information Flow

To make your reasoning clear, you must link together your ideas in your answer in a logical way.

Language Structures for linking your ideas together are:

  1. Information flow or the linking of information between sentences, depending on what information you put in sentence Themes (beginnings) and sentence News (endings).
(See Help with writing procedures for more explanation about Theme and New).
  2. Cohesion or using conjunctions, reference words and vocabulary to link your ideas together.
(See Help with writing procedures for more explanation about reference).
