Reporting on a laboratory experiment is one of the ways you are asked to demonstrate your understanding of scientific concepts. Your report needs to show that you understand the typical structure of a laboratory report and the purpose of each section. The sections of the report and their sequence accurately re-tell or recount a scientific experiment and interpret its results. Your interpretation is your argument for how you understand your results.
